Nick G. Vanderpas, 39, passed away on June 14, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on February 3, 1965 in Hawthorne, CA.Nick moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 10 years ago from Redondo Beach, CA. He worked in the plastering industry as a Lather for 22 years. The first 12 years he worked in the Redondo Beach South Bay area with his dad, uncles, brothers, and friends, and the last 10 years in the Lake Havasu City, AZ; area with his dad, uncles, brothers and friends. He loved the outdoors and was a talented artist. He loved and studied astronomy, archeology, world history, science, and was fascinated by all Gods living creatures and creations. He liked riding motorcycles, hiking, and playing in the lake. He loved Jesus, children, his family, and had many friends. He could always make you laugh and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a born again Christian and a member of Calvary Chapel Church in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Nick is survived by his son Michael George Vanderpas of Santa Maria, CA; mother Marilyn Joyce Fowles and step-father James Donald Fowles of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandmother Edna May Gold of ID; brothers and their wifes; James Wesley and Barbara Helen Vanderpas and William David and Brenda Marie Vizzard both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sisters Mary Linda Ullberi of MN; Delia Virginia Martinez of CA; Angelina Francis Lavern of LA; nephews Billy and Ryan Vizzard; Brandon and Brian Vanderpas; Brian , Jimmy, and Douglas Barry all of Lake Havasu City, AZ; nieces Shannon and Laura Vizzard both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and his many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral services will be held at Green Hills Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave; Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; on Monday, June 21, 2004 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held in Lake Havasu City, AZ; at Calvary Chapel Church, 1881 W.
