Marina A. Houser, 69, passed away on June 14, 2004 in Bridgeport, CA. She was born on November 29, 1934 in Canada.Marina moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; 10 years ago from California. Marina worked as a dispatcher for Ventura Transfer Co. in Carson, CA; for 15 years. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #2399 and for the last year and a half Marina worked at Wal-Mart, where she became a 4 star cashier. Marina loved to water ski, enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and knitting to pass the time. She also enjoyed spending time in Twin Lakes, the desert and riding in her son's sandrail at Glamis. She is survived by her husband of 12 years Robert Houser, brother Garner Strang of Mississauga, Ont. Canada, sisters Phyll Seed of New Lowell, Ont. Canada, Helen Laing of Emsdale, Ont. Canada, Lil Higham of Westport, Ont. Canada, grandchildren Ian Mac Millan, Jason Overholt, Marina Watkins, Bradley Mac Millan, Ryan Mac Millan, Scott Mac Millan and great grandson Logan Watkins.Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, June 19, 2004 from 2 to 3 pm.Funeral services will follow at 3 pm.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
