Margie Dell Morris passed away peacefully at Prestige Assisted Living in Lake Havasu City on July 26, 2013. She was born January 16, 1923, in Kelly, Louisiana, to Alice (Lay) Morris and Fred Morris. Margie worked for Detroit Edison in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for 32 years as a Customer Service Representive and Account Exective. In the mid-60s Margie and her sister Zelma Ebach visited Lake Havasu City on one of McCulloch's infamous vacation/sales pitch tours and loved the area so much they purchased a lot and both later retired to Lake Havasu City in 1981. Margie and sister Zelma, two southern bells known as the "Sisters" were very active in the community for over 30 years and were 2 of the 4 co-founders of the London Bridge Republican Women's Club. Margie is survived by her sister Freddie Hansen, niece Sheri Hansen Schultz, nephew Todd Hansen all of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and nephew Eddie Ebach of Lake Havasu City. Margie requested no services, and that contributions be made Hospice of Havasu in lieu of flowers. She will be interned at Havasu Memorial Gardens.
