Freida C. Pancake, 82, passed away on July 16, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on July 20, 1921 in Blue Mound, KS. Freida moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 24 years ago from York, Neb. Freida owned Pancake Jewelry store along with her husband in York, Neb; for 31 years. She was a member of Lakeview Community Church, Grace Chapter 87 Order of the Eastern Star in York, Neb. Freida is survived by her son Larry C. Pancake of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter Shari Stahr of Boonville, MO; brother James Stephen Beckwith of Parsons, KS; grandchildren Jeremy and Emily Rose and her friend Mary Jenkins of Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Claron F. Pancake, who passed away on October 16, 2002.A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel at 10:00 am with Pastor Dale Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens in Lake Havasu City, AZ.Contributions can be made in Freida's name to the Lakeview Community Church Building Fund, 1699 W. Acoma Blvd. Lake Havasu City, AZ. 86403Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
