Obituary of Eugenia CAMPANALE

Eugenia Campanale, 81, passed away August 1, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Ralph and Concetta (Meleto) Varone on April 21, 1923 in Cinquefrondi, Reggio, Calabria, Italy.Eugenia moved to Lake Havasu 25 years ago from New Hyde Park, NY where she was a self employed hairdresser for more than 25 years. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.Eugenia is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Bartholomew, sons, John Campanale of West Hempstead, NY, Thomas Campanale of Massapequa, NY; daughter, Elaine Belknap of Lake Havasu; brothers, Silvio Varone of Hobe Sound, FL and Julio Varone of Wheatley Heights, NY; sister, Teresa Chizzoniti of Lake Havasu. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Varone and sister, Catherine Chizzoniti.A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with a rosary at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Holy Spirit Church in New Hyde, NY, Monday, August 9, with interment to follow at the Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY.The family has asked for donations to be made in Eugenia's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405 or Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 1975 Daytona Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
