Obituary of Kathryn KONKOL

Geneva Kathryn Konkol, 75, passed away on August 4th, 2004 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV; in the presence of family members. She was born on November 2nd, 1928 in Millersburg, OH. Geneva was the daughter of Albert and Florence Flinner. She grew up on a farm with 3 other siblings, a sister Mae and 2 brothers, Albert and Robert. Geneva married Edward Fodor in 1951 and they moved to Southern California in 1956 and had two sons, Michael and Rodney.Geneva worked and retired after over 20 years of service for Monsanto Co; in Anaheim, CA; where she lived with her second husband Raymond Konkol.Geneva moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 5 years ago with her youngest son Rodney from Anaheim, CA; to be closer to her oldest son Michael who was already a Lake Havasu City resident.Geneva was a faithful member of God's Grace Church. She dedicated her whole life unselfishly, taking care of her family members. She dearly loved all of her family members far and near to her. All who loved her will dearly miss her….Geneva is survived by her loving family members, Michael and Debbie Fodor, Rodney Fodor, Mae and Roy Ware, Robert (Bussy) and Marilyn Flinner, Betty Flinner, 5 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Florence Flinner, stepfather Maynard Todd, brother Albert Flinner and husbands Edward Fodor and Raymond Konkol.Services will be privateIn lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Geneva's name to the Senior Center, 470 S.
