Obituary of Lavona ALVARADO

LaVona Alvarado, 71, passed away on August 4, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on February 28, 1933 in Meadow Grove, Neb.LaVona moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 6 years ago from Pasco, WA. Vona worked as a clerk for Westinghouse Hanford in Richland, WA; for 5 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Lioness Club, and was a volunteer for St. Vincent De Paul .Vona is survived by her loving husband Bernie Alvarado of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sons David Harvey Freeman and his wife of PA; Homer Vance Freeman of Pasco, WA; Steven Albert Freeman of Kennewick, WA; daughters Susan Jean Peters and husband Chuck of Richland, WA; Esther, Barbara Jo Smith, brothers Richard, Jim and Bob Boyer, twin sisters Armene and Ilene Boyer, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Mark Elden Freeman.In lieu of flowers, the family request donations can be made in LaVona's name to St. Vincent De Paul, Lake Havasu City, Az.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
