Obituary of Donald BEISCH

Donald Neil Beisch, 57, passed away Friday, August 6, 2004 at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix in the presence of family members. He was born May 5, 1947 in San Bernardino, CA; to Lewis and Aleatha Beisch.Don was a man of many trades, from plumbing houses and building swimming pools as a young man, to a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He worked for Newmont Gold in Golconda, NV; as a maintenance planner until retirement in 1998.Don's love of automobiles began at an early age and continued until the very end. Along with other family members, he helped start VIP Automotive in Lake Havasu City in 2003. He could always be found in the garage repairing vehicles, many times for friends or church members in need of help.His love and commitment to his family was unwavering. They were his greatest joy every day of his life. His unselfish gift of giving of himself to make their lives better, poured over into friends and others in need.Don is survived by family members, Jerrie Winters, his wife; Donnie and Dawn Marie, his son and daughter; Roger Buehler and Rakel Connell, stepchildren; Kory Greenfield, nephew; and grandchildren Donald Jr, Randy, John Evan, Stephani, Aubree, Ron, and "Big Don". He was preceded in death by his parents and son Tyrone.A service will be held on Thursday, August 19, at 7:00 PM at Rest Stop Restoration, 2590 N. Kiowa Blvd. in the Superior Building, (West of Kiowa Laundromat). Parking and entrance are located in the rear of the building. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory made arrangements.
