Bonnie Hoyt, 35, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at Havasu Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 4, 1969 in Keene, NH Bonnie moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 14 years ago from Dennis, MA. She worked for the Lake Havasu City School district for 14 years. Bonnie taught kindergarten at Havasupai Elementary School for 13 years and recently became principal at Smoketree Elementary School. She has been the public relations coordinator and served on the curriculum council. Bonnie also helped develop district educational material and applied for the grant that paid for the At-Risk Preschool Program. For several seasons, Bonnie also wrote and produced plays for young actors through the Drama Rama course offered by the Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreations Department. She was also a member of the Jaycees and performed with Drury Lane Players.Bonnie is survived by her fiancé Branden Lowder, daughters, Victoria (Tori) Elizabeth Gambill, Cierra Nicole Lowder, parents Jere and Betsey Hoyt, brother James Hoyt, sisters Jennifer Hoyt, Kathryn Hoyt all of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandparents Robert and Jean Ramsdell of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandmother Dorothy Hoyt of Reading, MA; Brandens parents Denny and Elly Lowder and brother Trevor Lowder and wife Jenna all of Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Carl Hoyt Sr,. and grandparents Thomas and Esther Burns.A private family and friend's memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at St. Michael's United Methodist Church. A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at the Aquatic Center on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at 1:00 PM.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bonnie's name to the K12 Foundation for LHUSD # 1, P.O. Box 2277, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86405Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
