Obituary of Jerome FRITZ

Jerome Francis Fritz 87, passed away n August 20, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on August 12. 1917 in Wales, North Dakota to Simon Fritz and Olive "Messner" Fritz.Jerome worked as a engineering technician for the United States Department of Agriculture in Grand Forks, North Dakota for 30 years before moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 15 years ago. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.Jerome is survived by his son Richard Fritz of Sugar Hill, Georgia, daughter Gretchen Borgen of Washington Township, Michigan, sisters Laura Utecht of West Fargo, North Dakota, Elizabeth (Betty) Ross of Edgeley, North Dakota, Grandchildren Dawn Foltz, Kerri Kohl, Elizabeth Anne Fritz, great grandchildren Carson Kohl, Connor Kohl and Cameron Kohl. He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Elaine Fritz who passed away on April 15, 2000, 1 brother and 2 sisters.A virgil service will be held on Thursday November 4, 2004 at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church at 7:00 P.M. A memorial mass will be said on Friday November 5, 2004 at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church at 12:00 P.M. with Father Charles Murphy officiating.The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Jerome's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
