Obituary of Michael Alan Jackson

Michael Jackson 1944-2013 Michael passed away July 31, 2013 at home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Michael was 69 years old. He was born March 28, 1944, to Phyllis Emily and Roy William Jackson in Syracuse, NY the oldest of 11 children. He graduated from Massena High and Potsdam State College. Michael taught 7th, 8th and 9th grade Social Studies at Colton-Pierrepont Central School for over 20 years. He retired in Las Vegas later moving to Lake Havasu City in 2010 to be closer to his son's family. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Michael in 2006 son Sean in 2013 brother John 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Rita Jackson, daughter-in-law Mel Jackson and 3 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Military Honors will be rendered by Marine Corps League Detachment 757.
