Kenneth Henry "Ken" Wohlford passed away September 22, 2004 in Lake Havasu City. He was born to John and Effie (Rhode) Wohlford on August 31, 1923 in Redwood Falls, MN.Ken made Lake Havasu his home 19 years ago, moving here from Fairmont, MN where he owned and operated Safety Service (a truck and auto repair service) for 30 years. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #4266 and the Elks Lodge #2399. Ken enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling all over in their motor home. He was also an avid card player and loved to visit the casinos.Ken is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 37 years, Betty; one son, Michael Pickett and his wife Nancy of Colorado Springs, CO; daughters, Darlene Buckmeir and her husband Hank of Fairmont, MN, Mary Hillert and her husband Paul of Saginaw, MI, Diane Scheizer and her husband Bob of Sanford, MI and Janet Sorgatz and her husband Paul of Lake Crystal, MN; sister Evelyn Kruger of Henderson, MN. He will also be dearly missed by his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.A memorial service for Ken will be held Sunday, September 26, 2:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Pastor Rick Carling will officiate and members of the Elks will conduct a Lodge of Sorrows Ceremony.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
