John William Hatton, 84, a four year resident Lake Havasu City and formerly of Pendleton and Eugene, OR, passed away October 13, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born to John and Gladys (Engle) Hatton on August 11, 1920 in Bakersfield, CA.John worked for Oregon State Hospital at Pendleton as a Supervisor of maintenance for 23 years. He was also a proud veteran in the Army Air Corp during WWII John was a member of St. Michael's United Methodist Church, the Elks Lodge #2399 in Lake Havasu, Hiram Lodge #67 F&AM in Elgin, OR, the Scottish Rite, the Al Kader Shrine in Wilsonville, OR and Lake Havasu and the American Legion #81 in Lake Havasu.John will be dearly missed by his best friend and beloved wife Rose Mary; sons, John H. Hatton of Imbler, OR and Les Thorpe of Seattle, WA; daughter, Darlene Savell of Wilder, ID; brothers, G. Richard Hatton of Florence, OR, Howard Hatton of Roseburg, OR and Doug Hatton of Springfield, OR; three grandchildren, Evan Thorpe, Frederick Krug and Christopher Hatton and two great grandchildren, Ashley Lane and Olivia Hatton.Memorial services will be held Friday, October 22, 2:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Rev. Lyndon Mason officiating. Masonic services will be held by Havasu Lodge #64 of The Free & Accepted Masons and the VFW Post 9401 and American Legion #81 will conduct full military honors.A memorial service will be held in Eugene, OR at a later date.The family requests contributions be made in John's name to the Al Kader Shrine Children's Hospital Transportation Fund, 8651 SW Salish Lane, Wilsonville, OR 97071 or to the B.P.O.E. #2399, 3532 McCulloch Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory
