Obituary of Robert LEWIS

Robert James Lewis, 57, of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 16, 2004. He was bon on July 8, 1947 in Long Beach, CA to Homer and Eileen Lewis.Bob grew up in Rosemead, CA and lived most of his life in Hacienda Heights, CA where he worked first at the Department of Water & Power in Los Angeles, and then for the rest of his career at the City of Los Angeles; first as a computer programmer then later as a Bureau Chief for the Department of Transportation.After thirty years working for the City of Los Angeles, Bob retired and moved to Lake Havasu to pursue his love of street rodding, golfing, jeeping and playing on the lake. Bob was married to his wife Susan for 35 years and they enjoyed so many wonderful times together.Bob is survived by his wife; his two daughters, Sherry Vena and her husband Bill, Shawna White and her husband Lonny and three beautiful grandchildren, Billy, Robbie and Katelyn.A memorial mass will be held Friday, October 22, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 1975 Daytona Dr., Lake Havasu City. A celebration of Bob's life will follow the mass immediately in the Parish Hall.In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to World Wide Marriage Encounter, 2210 E.
