Obituary of Fred MAXWELL

Fred J. Maxwell, 69, was called home by the Lord away on October 23nd, 2004 at the age of 69. He was born on May 22nd, 1935 in Whittier, CA; to Fred D. and Fay Maxwell, long time residents of Lake Hughes, CA.Fred graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1953 and attended Antelope Valley Junior College. He worked for General Electric Flight Test at Edwards AFB as an Instrumentation Specialist for 33 years before retiring and moving to Lake Havasu City, AZ. Fred loved boating, water skiing, fishing, flying, but his passion was his love for music. He played the trumpet with his heart and soul. He was a dedicated friend, and loved his family deeply.Fred leaves behind 5 children, Jan Arries, Linda Howell, Tonya Williams, Steven Fromberg, Sharon Wagerie, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Nelda Maxwell.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Mumaw Funeral Home in Lancaster, CA; with Jeanette Moffitt officiating.
