James Richard Sherwood, 6l, passed away on October 25, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on July 13, 1943 in Victorville, CA.James moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 8 years ago from Reno, NV. He worked as a foreman for Granite Construction in Reno, NV; for 40 years. James was very active in the Reno Horseshoe Association and entered tournaments whenever possible. He loved spending time with his family.James is survived by his loving wife Karen S. Sherwood of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sons John R. Sherwood of Reno, NV; James R. Sherwood III of Sun Valley, NV; James E. Sherwood of Reno, NV; daughters Joyce Elain Garlic or Reno, NV; Caire L. Hendricks of Indianapolis, IN; mother Lillian R. Sherwood of Boulder City, NV; brothers Gary W. Sherwood of Boulder City, NV; Bill and Lloyd Sherwood both of Chico, CA; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.A memorial service will be held at Crazy Horse Campground on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 1:30 p.m.Donation can be made in James' name to American Heart Association, 2126 McCulloch Blvd. #7, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86403Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
