Obituary of Cecil SPIEGELHOFF

Cecil "Cec" Spiegelhoff, 92, passed away October 26, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on April 28, 1912 in Rome, IA.Cec moved to Lake Havasu City 26 years ago and worked at the China Shoppe under the bridge for many years. She was the original owner of Hap's Tavern which later became Cec's on the Square in East Troy, WI. They started the tavern just after the end of the prohibition.Cec is survived by her daughter, Kay Comer; 2 grandchildren, Teri Romer and her husband Chip and Tami Steele and her husband Dave; four great grandchildren, Jesse, Steven, Matthew and Kate.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Hap" Spiegelhoff and great granddaughter, Ashley Romer.Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 29 at 3:00 PM.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405 or Ashley Nicole Romer Memorial Fund Phoenix Children's Hospital for Neuro-Oncology Research, 1920 E.
