Robert "Bob" Klief, 85, passed away November 5, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born July 17, 1919 in Milwaukee, WI to Raymond and Edith Klief. After serving in the Army Air Force (1st Lt.) from 1942 - 1945, he became service manager for Smith Corona Marchant in various locations in Wisconsin until 1965. Bob then owned and operated a Schwinn Bicycle Shop in Milwaukee, WI. He and his wife, Beatrice, whom he married in 1948, moved to Lake Havasu City, along with younger son, Paul in 1973.In Lake Havasu City, Bob and family owned and operated L&P Paper, Inc. for 26 years. During this time, he also taught stained glass classes at MCC, was a Deacon at Community Presbyterian Church and thoroughly enjoyed working with and entertaining children at Community Presbyterian Church under the direction of the Christian Ed. Director. When Bob retired at age 80, he was able to devote full-time to volunteer work. He also became a member of Golden K Kiwanis of Lake Havasu City and participated in many of their community service activities.Bob is survived by his wife Beatrice of 56 years; four children, Robert (Char), Marcia Carneavale (Henry), Jeanne Kalmbach (Paul) and son, Paul. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great granddaughters.A memorial service will be held for Bob Klief on Saturday, November 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Community Presbyterian Church, 3450 Chemehuevi Blvd., LHC. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the Fireside Room.If desired, donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405 or the Community Presbyterian Church.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
