Alma A. Miller, 80, died at her residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ; on November 5, 2004. Daughter of Olie and Caroline Balgaard of Grant County Minnesota; she was born on March 7, 1924 in Pelican Lake, Minnesota.Alma was married to Albert Miller on May 29, 1965 in Reno, Nevada. She traveled around the United States with her husband and lived on both coasts, he was a Navy man. After Alma retired from a successful career in dental office management, she moved to Sun City, California for 14 years prior to moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Alma has been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fleet Reserve Association since 1978.Her loved ones and friends will remember Alma for her smile, her straightforward talking and approach to life. Additionally her love of hummingbirds, bunnies, and assorted wild life would always bring a smile to her. Alma's eclectic mix of things that would light up her face will always be treasured. She was constantly clipping articles from the newspapers and sending them to the ones she loved. She loved arts and crafts of all kinds and was quick with her toolbox to tackle any household or outdoors projects.Her sister Hazel L. Berthiaume of Lake Havasu City was the only one out of 5 brothers and 5 sisters surviving Alma.Alma's wishes include cremation and requests that all donations are made to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86405 in her name.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
