Obituary of Louise Adele Parker

Thank God for this wonderful woman! Louise Adele Parker was born January 4, 1916 in New Haven, CT; she passed away in her Havasu home July 27, 2015 with family at her side. The family moved to California when Louise was 7. She was in the first graduating Class-Southgate High. After graduating with honors she then attended UCLA and then on to Berkley. After losing her husband in 1968 she earned her Master's Degree at age 58 and retired from teaching at age 70. Louise became a Havasu resident in 2005. She loved to travel, go to the casino, play Mexican Dominos at the Senior Center, Eastern Star meetings, Dr. David Bybee's Church services and her large family. Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. George F. Parker, Jr. Survived by daughters, Pamela Koshmerl Brower, Georgia Dardenelle, Christina Wilson and Kathryn Parker; grandchildren, Timothy Koshmerl, Brian Koshmerl, Damon Koshmerl, Clayton Koshmerl, Steven Koshmerl, Scott Dardenelle, Katie Bruns, Mark Wilson, Jason Wilson, Trevor Wilson, Tonya Wilson; and 17 great-grandchildren. Hospice of Havasu could not have been more wonderful in every way. A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Saturday, August 1st at 2:00 PM; graveside service for the family to follow at Rose Hills Cemetery, Whittier.
