Obituary of Sonja HARDING

Sonja Harding, 68, passed away November 19, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to Rudolf and Emma (Brocholz) Schaper on November 28, 1935 in Soerabia, Indonesia.Sonja was a Registered Nurse in California before making Lake Havasu her home 33 years ago. She really enjoyed her trips to Laughlin to play video poker. Her favorite restaurant was the China Buffet.Sonja is survived by her best friend and beloved husband of 42 years, Frederik; son, John Harding and his wife Kathleen of Fort Mohave, AZ; daughters, Jacinda Putonen of Montrose, CA and Janella Jones and her husband Michael of Lake Havasu; brothers, Robert Schaper, David Schaper, Reinout Schaper, John Schaper, all of Bellflower, CA, Ronald Schaper of Long Beach, CA and Rene Schaper of Portland, OR; one sister, Connie Schaper of Mesa, AZ and seven grandchildren who will remember her as "Dearest Oma". She will also dearly missed by her two cats, Smokey and Sugar.Sonja especially enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 21, 2:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
