I enjoyed working with Rene in La Paz County. I had to call her many times in the middle of the night or on weekends to send a crew out to clean up after a storm. We used to come across each other on the road at times driving to work from Havasu and honk an wave to each other. I was glad she decided to go into the nursing field and could see just in chatting with her on face-book she was excited about it. My condolences to her family. May she be the bright star in the sky your looking at. Heaven has a flower and she will spread her seeds upon us.

Rene was the nicest, most caring CNA who took care of my husband, Bill, during his recent stays at HRMC. She took the time to look in on him while he was in ICU and to hug me when he was so bad. We moved to Polidori House last week and he passed away yesterday. He will be in good company in Heaven with Rene. I will never forget her. My condolences to her family.

Dearest Jean and Ed,
What can one say about Rene. Lots and Lots. She was a wonder. Full of life, love and caring for everyone she met. Wally and I have known Rene for many years and each time we would arrive in Havasu for the winter the fun began. We went on many trips with her, Ed and Jean. One trip we often talk about was to the Animal Refuge in Valentine, Arizona where we spent the whole day touring around and being so surprised by the animals and what they would do. Rene asked us to bring donations to this refuge which we did and it was well worth it. We always remember her teasing with Wally about her football team, the Pittsburg Steelers. When her team would win, she often would call Wally and holler """HEY WALLYYYYYYYYY" how about them steelers. We will miss her a lot but all the good memories will help us through this sad time. Luv Ya.
Wally and Carol, Ontario Canada.

Jean and Ed.... My heart is truly broken over the loss of my fiery, beautiful, crazy, loving cousin!!! So many fun memories from riding in the back of the 5th wheel when we were little, swim parties at Aunt Lorraines and the famous Hembree Christmas Eve's.....a huge chunk has been taken from my heart.

I am so sorry for your loss Jean and Buddy. I worked with Rene for awhile and we continued our friendship outside of the work place. It still doesn't seem real that she is gone and I will miss her. Know that I am praying for God to strengthen you and wipe your years away. Jesus will take care of her until we can see her again.
All my love,
Shelly

Jean, mom and I haven't seen you or Rene in awhile but you were/are never far from our thoughts. I have a lot of great memories growing up with the "group", one of them was at my wedding and Rene said "I can't believe your getting married" I did marry young and Rene being 6 years younger then me it must have seemed strange. I am so glad she found a great guy and had a wonderful life. God Bless and RIP Rene.

My wife and I send our sincerest condolences for your loss.
Rene was an important part of our lives when she worked for Amgen. My wife and I picked up surplus computer equipment from Amgen and Rene was in charge of helping with our pick-up of equipment.
She was always friendly and helpful and went out of her way to help us.
We never contacted or saw her other than on pickup day at Amgen, but she made such a positive impact on our lives that almost every time we drove by Amgen on the 101 freeway, we sang a silly little ditty to the movie tune of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"
It went like this:
Rinny, Rinny Rin Rin
Rinny, Rinny Rin Rin
Rinny, Rinny Rin Rin we love you
Oh, our Rinny, Rinny Rin Rin we love you
She really made an impression on my wife and I and was an important influence in our Mom and Pop used equipment business.
Once in a while one of us will still sing that little song as we drive by Amgen.
No, Rene never knew about our song.
