Obituary of Kenneth SHIVELY

Kenneth F. Shively, 83, passed away on December 24, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. with his companion of 9 years, Phyllis James, at his side. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Lila Lorraine, who passed away in 1994. He was born on October 14, 1921 in McCune, Kansas to Lloyd J. and Mary (Andrew) Shively.Ken and Phyllis began spending their winters in Lake Havasu City 9 years ago and spent their summers on the Rogue River in Oregon. He was a self employed tile-building contractor in Hayward, CA. Ken was a member of Aahmes Temple of Shrine in Livermore, CA; past member of the Acacia Lodge, past Camaxli for the Order of Quetzalcoatl in Oakland, CA; past commodore of the Aahmes Yacht Club, past member of the San Leandro Yacht Club, member of the Kachina Billiken Klub, member of Elks Lodge #2399, member of the United State LST Association, which is for the Navy Veterans, member of the Royal Order of Jesters, member of the Bluebird Wanderlodge Association , member of the Vintage Birds , and enjoyed traveling in his R.V. with Phyllis for the last 9 years.Ken is survived by his sons Kenneth Shively and his wife Barbara of Castro Valley, CA; Rollin Shively and his wife Barbara of Grass Valley, CA; daughters Barbara Smith and her husband Dale of Oakley, CA; Lila Spjut and her husband Steve of Grass Valley, CA; Nancy Walker of Marysville, CA; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
