Obituary of Kirk L. Isitt

Kirk L. Isitt, born in 1920 in Walla Walla, Washington passed into the arms of the Almighty on July 31, 2015 at home in Lake Havasu City Arizona. His wife, Georgia and son, Wayne was by his side to share throughout his final journey. Many family members and friends were able to share their feelings of love for Kirk prior to his passing and most especially his best friend, Marty who stayed on the phone with him all night and brought him comfort before he passed. Kirk was a loving and caring husband, brother, father, foster father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and he was a great friend and mentor to the many who had the privilege to have known him. He was known for always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Kirk was Past District Governor of Rotary International, District 5300 and Past President of Barstow Rotary Club Barstow, CA. He was a retired fire fighter with the City of Santa Monica, CA. Kirk was a very successful business owner in a number of business ventures. As the owner and broker of Kirk Reality he was responsible for bringing Century 21 into the city of Barstow, CA changing the name of his office to Century 21 Kirk Reality. Kirk was a 60-year Master Mason and a member of the Show Low Blue Lodge, a Life Member 32 Degree A&A Scottish Rite of Free Masonry and a Noble of Shriner's International and a long time member the BPOE, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. All those who knew Kirk will always hold his memory in their hearts. Final arrangements will be private as Kirk wished. Donations can be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
