Obituary of Freda HEALD

Freda Eleanor Heald, 66, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at her home in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on Christmas day, December 25, 1938 in Ohio to Earl and Mary Lanning. The family moved to Harrisville, PA; in 1944, where she attended grades 1 thru 12 then went onto business college in Grove City, PA. Moving west to California in the mid 60's, she met and married Joseph J. Heald on July 3, 1970. They lived together 30 years in Torrance, CA; before retiring from her job as purchasing clerk for the Centinela Valley Unified school district in Hawthorne, CA; then moving to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in July 2002. Eleanor loved and lived life to the fullest extent until the end, having made many friends near and far. She will be missed for her sense of humor and compassion. Eleanor is survived by her loving husband, Joseph, daughter Teresa Monda of Houston, TX; son Joseph E. Heald of Lake Havasu City, AZ; two wonderful sisters, Betty Brestel of West Palm Beach, FL; and Christine Detisch of Somerset, PA; three grandchildren, Kristi and Nicole of Butler, PA; and Kourtney of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Eleanor now has a new best friend named God, to care for and look after her. So we will say goodbye at her memorial service on Sunday, January 16. 2005 , 2:00 PM, at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
