Richard Arthur Howard, 84, passed away January 17, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Eugene and Rose (Gehringer) Howard on July 23, 1920 in Los Angeles, CA.Richard was a proud veteran in the US Air Force, serving as a 1st Lieutenant during WWII from 1942 to 1945. He moved to Lake Havasu 20 years ago from Cerritos, CA. He was a supervisor for UniRoyal Tire Co. in Los Angeles, CA for 36 years.Mr. Howard is survived by his loving family, sons, Robert Howard of Lake Havasu, Michael Howard of California and John Howard of Utah; stepsons, Ron Workman of Costa Mesa, CA and David Workman of Mission Viejo, CA; sister, Florence Jones; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Berniece and brothers, Raymond, John and Ralph.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
