I have fond memories of meeting Brooke through my beloved husband, and soon after meeting Brooke's charming wife, Margo. Brooke was an enjoyable fishing buddy of John as well as a valued friend. Both referred to the day of fishing as a boat ride when no fish were caught. John admired hearing of Brooke's life adventures. Brooke and Margo were gracious hosts, always greeted with a warm smile and hug followed by a fabulous dinner and evening. My love to you Margo and your family. We will all miss Brooke. With my deepest sympathy.

I will always remember Brooke rolling his eyes as Margo and I attempted to make some creation out of clay. Brooke was always quick to smile, patient to listen, helpful when need and above all a wonderful man who will be missed by all.

Though I had not had the pleasure of knowing Brooke that long, his eyes told me all there was to know of him..They say the eyes are the windows into the soul. Brooke's eyes shone like diamonds on the azure sea. They told me that he was a kind man indeed, had a keen sense of humor that he never lost and above all else, he truly loved his wife Margo. I wish that I could have known him a lot longer.
Rest in peace dear man.

My brothers and I are comforted in knowing our mom was well loved and cared for by a great man for so many years. We will cherish the moments we had with him from Penticton to Big Sur and everywhere in between.
We are also touched and comforted by the outpouring of support for our mom. It's a testament to the way Brooke and Mom lived their life together…full of adventure, friends and love.

We have counted Brooke and Margo as some of our dearest friends for many years now. We have enjoyed hours of laughter, animated conversation, and enchanted evenings at their home spoiled by the best hosts ever! One memorable evening even had them teaching us to water witch. Brookes life adventures kept us mesmerized for hours. He was a man who lived life to the fullest, was knowledgeable about so many varied things, we were always fascinated by his wonderful mind. Plus he gave the best hugs.
All our love to you Margo. We will miss Brooke terribly. You have our deepest sympathy.

My deepest sympathy to you Margo and family.I have so enjoy knowing Brook for the past 4 ½ years.
Always a smile and a hug and happy to see me. We had interesting conversations about politics, but good ones because he and I thought the same about that subject. . I enjoyed hearing about his career, his travels to differ parts of the world and seeing the many items he had from the many places that he enjoyed showing me. What a wonderful man he was. I will miss him, his smile and laughter. God Bless you!

Our deepest sympathy to Margaret and the children. We will always fondly remember the many years Brooke was our neighbor. His wry sense of humor, wit, and quick smile made him easy to like. I always enjoyed his approach to packing up to make the trek north each spring. A curt "we'll look like the Beverly Hillbillies on the road, but we'll get there" was his usual response to my suggestion that he invest in a few more "jack straps" to restrain his load. We've missed that relationship the past couple of years. Heaven has gained a worthy addition while we all have lost a great friend.

Such a wonderful smile. I remember how Brooke sat with me on the lawn in Peachland and carefully explained how it was possible that my breast cancer eluded detection by mammography. Thank you, Brooke.

I never had the honor of meeting Brooke, but Margo and I have been friends from the days when we both lived in Hawaii. Margo reconnected with me many years back via the Internet and we have been keeping close contact since. I wish that Jerry (my husband) and I could have known Brooke for I know we would have loved him as much as Margo. Ann (and Jerry) Huml
