Lola Knight Canter, beloved sister, mother and grandmother. She was born March 2, 1921 in Welch, West Virginia. She passed away peacefully on January 26, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.Lola was married to James Burnell Canter on June 2, 1947. They made their home and began their family in Virginia, relocating to Fremont, California in 1959. They moved to Lake Havasu in 1979.Lola was widowed in 1983, and she is survived by her sister, Geneva Jimison; her children, Judith R. Lew, James A. Canter, Stephen B. Canter, Marshall K. Canter; her grandchildren, Allison L. Canter and Lauren E. Canter.A memorial service will be held Monday, January 31, 2005, 4:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.We loved her dearly and she will be missed.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
