Bud Cramer of Lake Havasu City passed away Sunday, February 6, 2005 at his home with his wife Evelyn by his side. He was born June 13, 1935 in Columbia City, IN; to Obert and Arvilla Cramer.Bud served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956, spending 3 years in Japan. Bud worked for the Kroger Co; in Ft. Wayne, IN; for 17 years, then moved to S. Holland, IL; where he worked as an iron worker for Iron Workers Local #165 in Lansing, IL; for 15 years. He retired in 1984 and moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; where he worked for Lake Havasu City, Street Dept; from June 1986 thru May 1996. Bud was also a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church since 1986 and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W.Bud married Evelyn in 1958 and had 47 wonderful years together. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. Making crosses was his passion. He received a patent for his "Trinity Cross", June 11, 1996.Bud will be missed by all who knew him and have a cross made by him.He is survived by his wife Evelyn, three sisters, Mary Blevins and Margaret Cox of Ft. Wayne, IN; Connie Smith of Sun City Center, FL; brother-in-law LeRoy Hill and wife Mary Ann of Lake Havasu City, AZ; numerous nieces and nephews and so many friends, never to be forgotten. Bud was preceded in death by his brother Ralph Cramer and his mother and father.Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Friday, February 18, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mel Soderberg officiating. Military honors will be presented by the V.F.W. Post #9401 and American Legion Post #81. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bud's name to Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2170 Havasupai Blvd; Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86403.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
