Lynn Wilson Perry, 86, passed away February 18, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Lysle and Lucinda (Meyers) Perry on November 25, 1918 in Fairmont, MN. He was raised in Hertel, WI and received his education in Shell Lake, WI. He was married to Ina Jellen on November 11, 1941. The moved to Long Beach, CA in 1942 and he served in the US Navy from 1942 to 1945. In 1946 he began working for Douglas Aircraft and in 1959 for the Oil Properties for the City of Long Beach as a principal draftsman for 28 years. After retiring he moved to Lake Havasu City in 1991 with this wife of 63 years.Lynn is survived by his wife, Ina; two daughter, Janice Kay Johanson and her husband Robert of Thousand Oaks, CA, Judy Lynn Thuneman and her husband, John of Lake Havasu City, AZ; four grandchildren, Jill Johanson, Todd Johanson, Jason Thuneman, Jeffrey Thuneman and his wife, Jamie, and one great grandson, Tyler Thuneman. He is also survived by his siblings, Wayne Perry of Spooner, WI and Donna Jackson of Bloomington, MN.Lynn enjoyed camping and was a member of the Lazy Daze Camping Club for 18 years. His love for wood working was known by all his family and friends. He was also a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church and American Legion.A memorial service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Friday, February 25, 2005 at 10:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Mel Soderberg. Interment will be at the Columbarium Memorial Gardens at Mount Olive Lutheran Church following the service.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
