Frank Gese, 85, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on January 3, 1920 in Aberdeen, SD; to Jacob and Phillippine (Buckmeier) Gese.Frank was a WWII veteran, serving in the U.S. Army at Turner Field, Georgia. After his discharge he worked for Northwestern Public Service, until his retirement in 1983.He married Virginia (Weber) on June 26, 1947 and they made their home in Aberdeen, until they moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1991.He is survived by his loving wife Virginia "Honey" Gese of Lake Havasu City; son Marvin and wife Marie Gese of Lake Havasu City, AZ; three grandchildren, Jeffery Gese, Darin Gese and wife Jennifer, Carmen Hogard and husband Christopher, four great grandchildren, Brittany, Zachary, Ryan, Kyle; brothers John, William, Joseph and sister Agnes Caldwell. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.A memorial gathering will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at his home. A private inurnment will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Frank's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
