Obituary of Kathryn PELLATON

Kathryn "Kitty" L. Pellaton, 69, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Ira and Mary Matthews on November 17, 1935 in Freehold, NJ.Kathryn moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; with her husband in 1990 from San Diego, CA. She had a career in banking with American Trust Company, Wells Fargo, Bank of Hawaii and Crocker Bank. She also worked at Ice Capades in San Diego, CA. Kathryn attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Freehold, NJ; and graduated from Hayward Union High School in 1952. She was a member of the London Bridge East Course Ladies Club and served as assistant tournament chairman 2004-2005 and secretary 2003-2004 and was also a member of the London Bridge West Course Ladies Club.Kathryn will be dearly missed by her husband Don of 49 years, daughter Janeen Fine of Oceanside, CA; sons Donald Jr. and wife Jill of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Robert and partner Anthony Cottam of San Diego, CA; brother Ira Matthews of Fremont, CA; sisters Sally Pearsall of San Leandro, CA; Mary Williams of Fontana, CA; granddaughters Jessica Pellaton of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Brittany Fine of Valencia, CA; and grandson Cody Jacob Pellaton of Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Marlene Havens. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Carol Sheffield officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorials be made in Kathryn's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
