Obituary of Harold STEVISON

Harold August Stevison, 88, passed away Wednesday March 9, 2005, at Havasu Nursing Center. He was born February 15, 1917 in Akron, Ohio, to Hugh and Dora Stevison. He married Norma Lehman on March 27, 1943. They had one daughter, Carol.Harold worked for many years as an electronics buyer for Ford Motor Co. in Newport Beach, California. After his retirement in 1979, he and Norma moved to Lake Havasu City, where they have resided ever since. He enjoyed boating, fishing and traveling. He and Norma were able to take many enjoyable trips and met many long-time friends along the way.Harold is survived by Norma, his wife of 62 years; daughter Carol (Gil) Waldon of Manhattan, Montana; three grandchildren Matthew Waldon of Santa Cruz, California, Melissa (Tom) Brittain of Tempe, Arizona and Amy (Dean) Bruno of Camp Verde, Arizona; 14 great-grandchildren; and his brother-in-law and dear friend William R. Lehman of Hemet, California.Visitation will be held at Rose Hills Mortuary Sunday March 13, 2005 at 7 PM and Monday March 14, 2005 at 10 AM.. Funeral services and burial will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California on Monday March 14, 2005 at 11 AM.. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Harold's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
