Betty Marie Blackford, 60, passed away on March 13, 2005 at her residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on June 29, 1944 in Hawthorne, CA.Betty moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 8 years ago from Palm Desert, CA. She worked as a grocery clerk for Smith Food and Drug her in Lake Havasu City, AZ; for 7 years and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.Betty is survived by her loving husband George, son Dennis Marshall of Indio, CA; daughter Michelle Sniffin of Indio, CA; step-daughter Celeste M. Blackford of Parker, AZ; brother David Bean of Irvine, CA; and six grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chad Garrison officiating. Family request that donations may be made in Betty's name to any Ovarian Cancer Research Center of your choice.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
