James Christopher Roach, 66, passed away March 13, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Nathan and Louise (Escoveda) Roach on September 8, 1938 in Ventura, CA.Jim was a proud veteran in US Air Force from 1958 to 1962. Following his military service, he worked as a surveyor for the City of Ventura, worked for a private surveying company, and then formed a partnership C. C. & R Inc., eventually moving to Lake Havasu City to begin Jim Roach Surveying Inc. Jim enjoyed the outdoors; he especially loved boating, fishing, camping, hunting, and golfing. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.Jim is survived by his loving family, daughters, Lisa Borner and her husband Peter of Montrose, CO, Jean Hartford and her husband Scott of Lafayette, IN, Diane Dees and her husband Tim of Rouge Mont, NC and Teri Braley and her husband John of Laguna Niguel, CA; brother, John "Jack" Roach of Coeur d'Alene, ID; one sister, Ann Reeves of Missoula, MT; 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild.A memorial service will be held Friday, March 18, 1:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations go in Jim's name to the March of Dimes, 1616 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
