Stephen Roy Stires, 60, passed away March 14, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Lester and Elsie (Reynolds) Stires on December 27, 1944 in Pomona, CAStephen had been a resident of Arizona for the past 10 years from Claremont, CA and then making Lake Havasu his home 8 years ago. He was the President and C.E.O. for the Stires-Martin Group in Phoenix, AZ for 5 years. He had earned his B.A. from Cal Poly Pomona University. Stephen was a proud veteran in the US Army during Vietnam and had a passion for fishing and working on cars.Stephen is survived by his son, Todd Stires of Murrieta, CA and two grandchildren, Todd Stires, Jr. and Bailey White.Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 17, 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.Donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
