Arthur "Art" John Morris, 80, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2005 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on March 27, 1924 in Dalesburg, KY. Art moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 3 years ago from Antioch, CA. He worked as a millwright in industrial engineering, for 65 years in Long Beach, CA. Art was a member of the V.F.W. and also was a long time swap-meet vendor of the colorful "Wind Swirlers". He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth "Betty" Morris of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sons Jerry of Vicksburg, MS, Stuart of Cypress, CA; Brian of Huntington Beach, CA; Barry of Cypress, CA; daughters Andrena of Modesto, CA; Monica of Bellaire, TX; Pattiann of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters Frieda of Lexington, KY; Alta of Dayton, OH; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at the V.F.W. Post #9401 on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 2:30 p.m.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
