William Richard Jackson, 75, passed away March 18, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Paul and Edith (Downer) Jackson on February 20, 1930 in Miami, FL.Prior to moving to Lake Havasu 15 years ago from Upland, CA, Bill worked for General Dynamics in Pomona, CA as a Graphic Art Supervisor for 32 years. He joined the US Navy during the Korean Conflict in 1947 and served his country proudly until 1951.Bill always put his wife and children first and made friends with everyone he met. He had a great sense of humor and always loved a good joke. He loved to call Havasu his "paradise". Bill is survived by his beloved bride of 50 years, Mary J. Jackson; son, Thomas R. Jackson of Oak Hills, CA; daughters, Denise Lashbrook of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Beth Cundiff of Oro Valley, AZ; stepsons, Stephen Clewett of Riverside, CA and Jim Clewett of Reno, NV; brother, Jim McDivitt of Orem Valley, UT; sisters, Jewel Shaw of Huntington Beach, CA, Judy Lubich of Lakeport, CA and Mary Thorsen of Kelseyville, CA. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
