Dorene E. Hankins, 82, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away of Lung Cancer, on Thursday August 15th, 2013. Dorene was survived by her loving Husband Verle D. Hankins of 51 years, 3 children (she was a proud Mother of 5 Children, 2 preceded her in death), a proud Grandmother of 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great -Great Grandchildren, and all spouses along with other family members and friends. She was born April 7th, 1931, and lived most her life in West Covina, California. She retired from Avon, and then moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She enjoyed her travels with her Husband in their 5th wheel, and loved to play games, and gamble. She was very loved by all because of her happy demeanor and great sense of humor. There are not enough words to express our loss of such a wonderful, strong woman. She will be dearly missed by all. Burial will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lung Cancer Society in her honor.
