Obituary of Ron HERRELL

Ron "Shakey" Herrell, 64 years old, passed away April 2, 2005 at 4:13 AM. He was born on May 21, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska.Ron grew up in Fullerton and Buena Park, CA. He was an avid CB'er (two-timer) and loved fishing with his grandkids and friends. He was a master carpenter for 48 years, known as "52". Ron was a member of the NRA. He loved being with family and friends, loved family get togethers, parties, picnics and anything that had people, as he liked to mingle and have fun.Ron also loved flying remote control airplanes and radio control boats. He was also very much into old antique cars and always had a project. He was well loved by many and touched so many lives. He was also an advocate for youth troubled teens.Ron is married to Linda (King) Herrell for 45 years. He has 3 children, Robert Herrell of Grass Valley, CA, Linda Ann Herrell of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Dawn Herrell-Holm of Las Vegas, NV; mother, Esther Williams of Lake Havasu City, AZ; four grandkids, Daniel Herrell, Dustin Herrell, Desarae Herrell and Robert Herrell Jr.Ron was a very devoted son, husband, father and friend and always took the time to listen.A visitation will be held Saturday, April 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 10, 2:00 PM at Calvary Chapel. Pastor Ray Carter will officiate.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
