Shane Michael Danielson, age 19, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2005. He was born on July 8, 1985 in Van Nuys, CA. Shane was a junior at Lake Havasu High School and he took great pride and satisfaction in being a member of the Computer Club and of DECCA. He enjoyed video games, anime, animals and bowling. Shane has had to overcome many obstacles in his life, but he did his best with a loving heart and a lot of determination. For example, he was playing soccer six months after being critically injured in a car accident that left him wheelchair bound and in a full body cast for over two months. He underwent many surgeries on his leg with a smile and lots of faith and learned to play basketball from a wheelchair. Once his surgeries were complete, he never took his walking for granted and always held out a helping hand for those he saw in wheelchairs or on crutches, for he knew how they felt.Shane's presence in this world will be greatly missed. Those that will try to survive his loss are; his mother Catherine Danielson of Lake Havasu City, AZ; his big brother, Don Danielson of Lake Havasu City, AZ; his sisters, Kimberly Danielson of Scottsdale, AZ; Christina Danielson of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; and Carina Danielson of Lake Havasu City, AZ; his step-mother, Emily Vargas and step-brother Vincent Vargas, both of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; his uncles, Myke Woodland of Redlands, CA; Kenny Danielson of Missoula, MT; Chad Danielson of Absarkee, MT; Chris Abbate of Madison, IA and his aunt, Genia Danielson of Laguna Beach, CA.
