Obituary of Betty Jane Kraft

Betty Jane Jagger Kraft went home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2013. She passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Havasu City surrounded by her family. Betty was the firstborn of twin daughters to Albert and Bessie Jagger on January 28, 1928 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The family soon moved to California where brother William "Billy" was born. In 1946 she married Ray Kraft. They were happily married just shy of 60 years at the time of his death in 2006. She is survived by daughters, Carol Tanner of Lake Havasu City, Marcia (Dennis) Barringer of Lake Havasu City and Betty Murillo of Sunset Beach, California; and brother Dr. William Jagger of Oregon House, California. Grandchildren include David Okley, Sandra Allen, Damon (Karen) Barringer, Darlene (Aron) Rowe, Jeff Barringer, Debi (David) Amador, Richard (Angelina) Murillo, and Robert Tanner who will marry Melissa Andres on Aug. 24, 2013. Great-grandchildren include Jayden Murillo, Nathan Amador, Ben Saunders, HannahRae Amador, Addison Barringer, Tanner Rowe and four-month old twins Dani and Demi Rowe. There are also numerous nieces and nephews. Aside from her family, Betty's passion was sewing which she learned as an eight-year-old when her mother taught her how to make doll clothes. Betty also had a passion for four-legged friends and leaves behind Bullet, Pepper and Benji. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Bessie Jagger, infant children Sharon Hand and James Hand, and twin sister Blanche Ann Goodman. A memorial service is scheduled at 1:00 PM on Sept. 7 at Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Carlton Harvey officiating. Donations may be made in Betty's name to Hospice of Havasu or Western Arizona Humane Society. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to Betty's family at www.lietze-frazefuneralhome.com.
