Obituary of Carmelo PAVEGLIO

Carmelo G. Paveglio, 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2005 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on November 25, 1931 in Marquette, MI; to Guido and Mary (Portale) Paveglio.Carm attended and graduated school in Ishpeming, MI. After school he served in the U.S. Navy for four years during the Korean War. He worked at White Pine Copper Company as a supervisor of the water treatment plant, where he worked until he retired. Carm was a member of the American Legion, Volunteer Fire Department and a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, where he also did volunteer work in Bergland, MI. Carm moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; from Bergland, MI; in 2002. Carm's love and affection for everyone will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Carm is survived by his best friend and loving wife Phyllis of 6 years; daughters Amanda Paveglio and Melinda Paveglio Maki; step daughters Christine George and husband Kenneth, Sherrie Geisler and husband Thomas; brothers, John Paveglio and wife Miriam, Louis Paveglio and wife Nancie, James Paveglio, sister Carmen Morrison and husband Robert, granddaughter Amy Hotra and husband Jason, grandson Timothy Maki, step grandchildren, Bradley Geisler and Brianne Geisler, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carm was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years Judith (Schneider) Paveglio; mother Mary Paveglio; father Guido Paveglio; and sister-in-law Donna Paveglio. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date in Negaunee, MI.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carm's name to Copper Country Mental Health, 901 W.
