Obituary of Cecil DELP

Cecil R. Delp, 69, passed away April 12, 2005 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born to Lloyd and Blanche (Harmon) Delp on February 23, 1936 in Lashmeet, WV.Prior to moving to Lake Havasu 7 years ago from Everett, WA, Cecil worked as a union pressman for The Everett Herald for 41 years. He was a proud veteran in the US Army as an 82nd Airborne Ranger during the Korean Conflict. Cecil was a member of the Lake Havasu Gold Panning Club. He enjoyed working on his collector cars and loved rooting for USC.Cecil is survived by his beloved family, sons, Daniel Delp and his wife Kelli of Walla, Walla, WA, Michael Delp and his wife, Mary Lou of Coulee City, WA; two sisters, Evelyn of California and Margaret of Oregon; six grandchildren, Amber, JoAnn, Ashley, Daniel, Gregory and Qunci Delp and one great grandbaby on the way.He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Delp who passed away in 2002 and by his son, David.The family has asked that donations go in his name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
