Obituary of John HRENO

John Hreno, 84, passed away April 14, 2005 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born to George & Susan (Michalek) Hreno on July 25, 1920 in Oneida, PA.John moved to Lake Havasu 21 years ago from Grayslake, IL. He worked for Outboard Marine Corp (O.M.C.) in Waukegan, IL as an engineer for 35 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. John was also a proud veteran in the US Army during WWII.John is survived by his beloved wife of almost 56 years Elizabeth Barbara Hreno; son, Robert Hreno of Gurnee, IL; daughters, Marlene Bjorkquist of Lake Villa, IL and Pamela Collins of Mt. Pleasant, MI and five grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Hreno.A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. A reception will be held at the Knights of Columbus.In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations go in his name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
