Obituary of Carol BEGAY

Carol Gene Begay, 63, passed away April 17, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Carl and Rebecca (Streiff) Wendling on December 4, 1941 in Beaver Dam, WI. Carol, a true Havasu Pioneer, moved to Lake Havasu 41 years ago from California. For 35 of those years, she worked for the McCulloch Corp. as a machine operator. She also spent much of her time doing volunteer work for St. Vincent De Paul.Carol is survived by her husband, Roy; four children, Cindy Harrington and her husband, Tony; Leroy Schmidt and his wife, Gloria, Christine Smith and her husband Bill and Calvin Schmidt and his wife, Rose; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Wendling and his wife, Angie and Ronnie Wendling and his wife, Janet; sister, Judy Brashear and her husband, Dub and longtime friend Felipe Ochoa.She was preceded in death by her sister, Loretta.Carol will be dearly missed by her family and friends.A memorial services will be held Thursday, April 21, 400 PM with a gathering to follow at Praise Fellowship Foursquare Church, 3430 McCulloch Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ.We love you, mom.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
