Obituary of Joan GROVER

Joan Livingston Grover, 77, passed away April 21, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ surrounded by her family. She was born to Donald and Viola (Williams) Livingston on October 1, 1927 in Livingston, WI. Joan graduated high school in Livingston, WI in 1945, and then went on to Plattville State Teachers College, majoring in elementary education. In 1966, she returned to complete her 4 year degree. In 1969, Joan and her family moved to Lake Havasu from Hartland, WI and then in 1972, she completed her master's degree. She was a sister of the Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority. Joan's career in education spanned 43 years, many of those teaching Lake Havasu's kindergarten students. Joan told her family "it was an honor, privilege and a delight to be a teacher". Joan will be dearly missed by her loving family, beloved husband of 51 years, Frederic; sons, Fred Grover and his wife Dori Grover and Jeffrey Livingston Grover, all of Lake Havasu; one sister, Jane Biddick of East Troy, WI.Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 30, 10:00 AM at Grace Episcopal Church.
