Paul Leonard Harlan, 77, passed away May 9, 2005 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on November 19, 1927 in Topeka, KS. Paul moved to Lake Havasu 15 years ago from Lakewood, CA. For 20 years he worked for McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, CA as an Industrial Engineer. Paul did volunteer work for the Visitor's Center from 1990 to 1997. He also enjoyed going bowling.Paul is survived by his beloved family, daughters, Rhonda Gianessi of Lake Havasu, Roberta Reber of Bellflower, CA, Carol Hernandez of Mira Loma, CA and Cathy Dixon of Appleton City, MO; mother, Pauline Harlan of Manhattan, KS; sister, Erma Rouch of Manhattan, KS; brother, Loyd Harlan of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Kevin Hoffman, Denise Bayne, Christine Hoffman, Mickie Hazelwood, Theresa McConatha, Michael McConatha, Robert Harlan, Laura Harlan, James Morris, Neal Morris, Stacy Morris, Mandy Ingram and Raymond Delgado; great grandchildren, Colbe Hoffman, Devin Hoffman, Ric Hoffman, Dylan Bayne, Payton Bayne, Alexander Hazelwood, Melissa Hazelwood, Timothy Galindo, James Morris IV, Gaje Morris, Elijah Wall, Edward Lancaster Jr., Rachel Medina, Elisabeth Medina, Lilianna Medina, William Ingram III and Khiya Delgado and friend and companion, Fran Sommers of Lake Havaus.Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Betty Harlan; son, Donald W. Harlan and father, Leon B. Harlan.Funeral services will be held Friday, May 13, 2:30 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
