Clare F. Beckman passed away May 15, 2005 in Lake Havasu City. She was born December 22, 1922 in Bay Ridge, NY.Clare or 'Becky' as many knew her, moved from Huntington, NY to Lake Havasu City October 1974. She worked and retired from Mohave Savings and Loan Bank and after retirement worked at the hospital for two years.Becky's friends will remember her as being a warm and sincere person who loved having a good time with them. She enjoyed the desert and boating. She was a Jigsaw puzzle enthusiast and enjoyed reading. Her artistic talents were displayed, as she loved to paint and write beautiful poetry for her friends. Becky loved to play cards and her card playing "pals" will miss her very much.Clare is survived by her sister, Ethel V. Sandler of Valley Stream, NY and Ila Crofton of Brazil, IN; nieces, Jackie Balchaitas of Merrick, NY, Ila Balchaitas of Brightwaters, NY, Suanne Connolly of Selden, NY, Jamie Kittenplan of Brighton, CO; nephews, Jeffrey Sandler of Valley Stream, NY, John Beckman of San Diego, CA, Robert Beckman of Newport Beach, CA and five grand nephews and nieces.Clare was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
