Katherine F. Smith, 90, passed away May 22, 2005 in Kingman, AZ. She was born to Shade and Rosie (Brown) Flowers on January 2, 1915 in Lindsay, OK. Katherine moved to Kingman 9 years ago from Grass Valley, CA. For 15 years she worked at Ocotillo Lodge in Palm Springs, CA in housekeeping.Katherine is survived by her sons, James Smith of Florida, Kenneth Smith, Donald Smith and Dennis Smith all of California; daughters, Valta Caulder of Grass Valley, CA, Shirley Mann of Kingman, AZ, Maggie Racado of Beaumont, CA; brother Loyd Flowers of Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Smith Sr. and two sons, Joseph and Bobby Jack Smith.Condolences may be submitted in Katherine's memory to www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
